  1. Some CDs are very collectable......
  2. Only if they were stupid enough to bid exclusively on their own items.
  3. But by allowing them to bid on their own items, the seller would be complicit, unless he is totally unaware of their identity.
  4. Not to be confused with Rockers, not to mention Dub, Dancehall and Raggamuffin.
  5. Just scroll down and you'll see similar threads to the one you just started.
  6. Better off buying on Amazon UK, about the same price when exchange rate and international shipping is taken into account, and you don't have to worry about customs or it going missing between the US and here.
  7. I was sat to the right of the stage and although the sound wasn't great, it was an improvement on Friday night when I watched the Impressions from the balcony. Voices seemed very muffled, whoever did the sound check did a poor job.
  8. It wasn't a great performance, he would have probably been a lot better with the Imperials by his side. He seemed to struggle through Gonna Fix You Good, and when he came on to do Better Use Your Head as an encore, his mike was turned off for the first couple of bars, and he looked very uncomfortable. Certainly wouldn't go out of my way to see him again based on that performance.
  9. No wonder then that it was covered as the Ellingtons.

  11. That's not how I read it on the original post.
  12. Still does, but the chemicals involved today are Algipan and Sanatogen.
  13. Exactly Peter, shite was played back then and continues to be played today.
  14. Err...things that happened in the past.
  15. Definitely a Station Road spin....Alan Rhodes?
  16. You can't rewrite history.
  17. Nightwatch - Lips To Your Heart.....
  18. That's something I don't miss. One step up from newspaper. The Royal Navy were still using it in the early 80's. Luckily the introduction of sewage treatment plants on board meant the introduction of soft toilet paper.
  19. We'll have to get some stoneware clay next time Kathryn orders some clay, as we only have earthenware clay in the shop. Here's one she threw with some school buff wedged with a bit of commercial white earthenware.....
  20. I'll send you the piece I did, Dave....
  21. Participated in a raku firing last Thursday. Quite illuminating.....
  22. You sound like a real fun guy Philippe. Here's a toadstool that was recently made in a clay hand building session by my daughter....
  23. I think some of the wannabe DJs could learn something from this guy.....
  24. Not impressed that the organisers have decided to sell more tickets despite the venue main hall capacity being reached. Last year I thought the numbers were right. I know It's a big venue, but I can see the smaller rooms being absolutely rammed once the main hall closes. Unless of course they are planning to keep the main hall open all night.
  25. Reading it at the moment on Kindle, although I own a signed copy. Very good read.
