Soul Train in Ramsbottom is good for a mix up of tunes, Different Strokes in Manchester (the best night out in the UK), Aberdeen Soul Collective (if you fancied travelling) and loads of stuff on in Europe most weekends - personally travel as much as possible to hear new stuff

For the list side of it, track it all in Discogs - saves the time and effort making documents (as you can export in xls from Discogs) - the physical side of it aren't in any order as it makes me look through everything when creating a playbox that way stuff gets rotated all the time rather than sitting with the same tunes in a 100 or 200 playbox..

@Keeper cracking sets...but I really think you should give me that Rico Collins...

I play them every day, only listen to mp3s when I'm in the car or travelling...no point in collecting records if you don't play them, it's the equivalent of collecting china tea cups and not drinking tea out them...
