Five from Northern Soul Amsterdam at Cafe Batavia this weekend
Jack Montgomery- don't turn your back on me
Intentions - don't forget that I love you
Rising Son - good loving
Patti Jo - make me believe in you
Sly, slick and wicked - your love was meant for me
Top night as usual with many more cracking tunes
I'm sure there's a thread on here with some details behind this, there's speculation it's the same person but some some say father/son - quite a few threads on Frederick Hymes if you do a search
Looking forward to being back over next weekend, always a good time in Amsterdam and the rest of mainland Europe...the crowds are more up for it and willing to dance to things they might not know as well as "classics"
Five heard at Let's Dance Some Mo dayer in Chester on Saturday
Glen Miller - where is the love
Sag War Fare - girl you better change
Bob Meyer - I only get this feeling
Hesitations - is that a way to treat a girl
Paramount Four - you don't know
Was this through Friends and Family? If it's through goods and services you should be able to open a paypal case for goods not received after 30days and get your cash back that way, whereas if it was through friends and family then I don't think you'll see the cash again unless the person who you sent it to does the right thing.
Demo has a different take Chalky, there's a falsetto bit towards the end of the record that's not on the issue, personally prefer the demo (although deciding whether to sell or not at the moment as I rarely play it out)
Aberdeen Soul Collective (weekender)
Soul Sam's Hamilton Movement c/u
Cliff Gober - Poor wayfaring stranger
Lil' Major Williams
Sam Dees - Child of the streets
Willie Dale
A few tunes I didn't get round to playing at the Manchester Soul Weekender day sessions and the Flipside last Friday
