  4. thanks for the info 1978 - will pull out The Eight Minutes album and have a closer listen - I wonder if Patrick Adams has a discography of his work ? Any of his music/product that was recorded and never actually saw the light of day - i would guess there is 100s of tracks that never made it past this stage ? PS would love to know who some of the groups consisted of ? Daybreak,Caress, 8 Minutes ,Magnetic Touch ,The Reasons to Live ? etc ...just to mention a few .... the list is endless, are there any photos about of these groups ? - I recall being told that Daybreak was destined to be released on the Prelude Records (NYC ) label ? Did it make it to a demo release ? tfk tfk
  5. Mmmm not sure what happened there ? How about Caress' cover of Pete Warner's I Just Want To Spend My Life With You from their 1977 self titled LP A good shout there Ady of Newark and you took the words right out of my mouth with The Caress album and the group version of Pete Warner ,The Caress also includes another vocal to "Ronnie Love " Almeria biggie - which if my memory serves me both versions were played at that infamous WC allnight discotheque and talking of "Ronnie Love " on Almeria Records don't forget The Magnetic Touch and The Universal Robot Bands versions too...PA goodies!!!

  12. good shouts there Eddie on both your postings .....now you've got me thinking which came first with " I got the need" ???? I seem to recall both the Chuck J and Moments versions being played similar times and both from off the LPs first - then CJ was released as a UK 45 ' but can't remember if the CJ version got a release in the states or Europe on a 45 ? not forgetting the Spooky and Sue version on European Decca records 45 ... Mmmm tfk

  14. Loads of new release stuff was played out and became quite biggies ' if my memory serves me :- I recall Chuck Jackson - "I've got the need" - Larry Sanders "On the Real Side " being new/newish releases and were immediate embrassed. and became dance floor winners ( Especially at the world famous Abbey Youth club In Worksop town on the Sunday night dance sessions ) circa 1974/75 ? - mmm seem to remember Flaming Emeralds "Have Some everybody " Fee records being played out as a new release ? I remember picking a copy up from a shop that sold new import 45s the same weekend as hearing it out ... Roger Collins " Sexy Suger plum " Paul Humpreys Cochise ABC all floor fillers ' more to follow when I wake up properly and stop sneezing lol
