Wrong side of Town
I can think of so many great records that rarely get a spin. So why would you play that Vandals crap?

Songs That Really Pull At Your Heart Strings . . .
- Portable Record Players
I used to have a Discotron in the mid seventies and you dropped the record into a slot in the top. It was pretty compact and would play without jumping even when you moved it. Only problem was when the needle/stylus went tits up I could never find out how to replace it or where to get parts. No internet then. It was second hand when I got it and I've never seen the like since. A great bit of kit and I'd love to have another one. One of those things you chuck out and regret years later.- Which Northern Track You Dislike The Most
Most (but not all) of the Ian Levine shite.- Engraved Messages On Vinyl Out Tracks
You want to have a word with er indoors- Has This Secret Sound Been Played Out Yet?
Sounds very 'poppy'- Favorite Drummers 45
Just love the percussion on this track. Don't know who it was but its seriously cool drumming.- The Outer Limits
You Tube - Impressions "Can't Satisfy" @ The Plebeians Club Halifax 1967 Plebs nightclub Halifax 1951 to 1967 What a quality club, a little before my time unfortunately. One if not the first all nighter in England or so I'm told. Great revival last Sunday at the Woolmerchants Hotel in Halifax, some great 60's soul. PS how the fcku do you put the you tube film onto a message? Derrrr- Just Arrived In The Post (Or Just Bought)
Shirley Wahls - Why An I Crying C/W That's How Long (I'm Gonna Love You) Freddie Scott - Mr, Heartache- Northern Soul Top 500 Time For A Review
The fact that Nosmo King is included in the top 500 is mind boggling when you think of all the brilliant sounds that aren't even included. It's all differing opinion, pehaps Soul Sourse could do a poll and make their own chart every few years would be very interseting.- Which Northern Track You Dislike The Most
What about some of the hideous crap that were massive at Wigan in the day - like Nosmo King, Goodby Nothing To Say and that bloody Cochise. How embarasing, they packed the floor. Thank god I've never heard them since. Although I'm surprised no one has included them on one of those cheesy so called Northern Soul CD's.- Video: The Voices Of East Harlem In Prison Concert
Brilliant! And they say UK jails are top notch. I bet they don't get quality gigs like this. Gary Glitter doesn't quite cut it.- Ron Holden Boot Or Original?
I think the original is on Challenge No.59360 with black text. The repro/boot had red text.- Emidisc
Got about a dozen or so in my collection from back in the day. Mostly crap sound quality but it's the memories that count. Can't bring myself to chuck em out. When you bought an emi disc it was because the tunes were too rare or too expensive at the time. Some things never change. No downloading in them days.- Studio Acetates
Sorting through my collection and came across a couple of Trident Studios, Barbara Pennington acetates. Are they tat or are they worth owt?- More Ns Tat Or Chance To Attract Younger Souls?
It's tat. Heard some crap before but for me its cringe worthy s**t.- I'm At The Breaking Point
That's the one! Thanks guys.- I'm At The Breaking Point
The Spencer Wiggins version is a great track but I've heard the same title track with a female vocalist which is in my opinion better. Same title, different song. Only problem is I don't know the name of the artist. Can anyone help me out?- I'm At The Breaking Point

You could always buy the Originals Suspicion re-release on Soul Records for a fiver on ebay. Probably a tadge cheaper than the original. Must say though it was interesting to see the background to this track. - Portable Record Players
