I'm not saying Waterman, Blackburn, Stringfellow or Almond had no input, knowledge or influence on the Northern Soul scene but would they have been included had they not been 'celebrity'? I doubt it.

    What a crock of shit. Do you think the starting bid was a miss-print and it should have been $1.80 stating bid. I saw the Blow Fly does Disco album recently for £20.00 which is far superior ( the Frankie Valley Swear to God/Spread Your Cheeks is a classic!) but again not the sort of thing you'd play anywhere other than home.

    Got to say this thread has been a belter and has turned me on to more great tunes than I can say. I've been into soul all my life and it's a constant learning curve and it's great to know there's always always something new to discover, even if its fifty years old!
