  10. As several have said lighter fuel may do it. Off topic slightly, but that old chestnut and shipping costs. Just not got a package, because the guy insisted that I pay for full Fedex service on a record $30's odd, I asked him to send 'Global Priority' about $12, but he insisted that I pay for Fedex, he said it will get there 'quicker and safer'. Package gets to the UK, Fedex then say they can't find the address and send it back to the U.S. Fedex maybe the dogs nuts in the U.S., but since the scaled back here a few years ago they hopeless hopeless.
  11. Thanks Guys That does help Cheers Dave
  12. Has anyone got a biog of the group or lines for them. Atco group Cheers Dave
  13. I'm so glad to see that all those years Gilly spent befriending people in Detroit is now benifiting so many more people. When ever I was over with Popcorn and others, they would always say what a great guy Gilly was. Ady has done a stand up job once again with this CD, but there again he often does, the Piped Piper material, Ted Jarrett, Kent Harris etc, etc, infact the whole team at Kent have done as much as anyone else to keep the wonderful music we all love alive. Fantastic job all, now everyone go out and buy it, so they can continue providing a great service to soul fans around the world.

  25. Hi Guys Welcome to another music promotion from Plug 'n' Play. 'Our mission is to assist Indie artists in the promotion of their material to the soul loving european market' ' Todays Soulful Sound Of Detroit' Is a project we got involved in a couple of years ago in Detroit, the end result is the LP enclosed. This has been a labour of love for all parties involved, produced on a limited budget with many giving their time free, just to make it happen. This LP show that Detroit still has 'Soul' and an abundance of talent in the city. The 'Powerhouse behind this project has been song writer/arranger Tim King, who pulled together artists and musicians who live in the neighbour hoods near him on the westside of the city to record a cool selection of tracks. He also called upon the skills of legendary producer Clay McMurray (Thelma, Motown, Undisputed Truth) to assist in pulling all the elements together. All the material on this set is new and never before released, with the exception of 'Give It What Cha Got', which did appear on an earlier CD incarnation of the project and was the single piece of music that got us hooked and involved. This track has already been getting rave reviews, from those we have sent demos to and killer dance floor reaction ever time it's played out. We lookforward to your support in the promotion of this 'Labour Of Love', which is our way of putting a little back into the a musical city that has given many of us so much.
