  4. Hi Ady He also worked with Tom Moulton a fair bit in NY
  5. This is a one sided 12" with four tracks. It came from Andrew Smith, who was a session drummer in Detroit, working at Motown and with Dennis Coffey. Andrew produced all the tracks, played and sang on them along with Dennis on guitar. Andrew cut these as a demo, hoping to get a artist deal with Berry, but nothing came of it. Shame as they are very good tracks, 2 ballads and two 60's crossover tunes. Andrew passed a few years ago, but he was held in such high regard, that his old high school named a new students recording studio after him. On the day of the dedication, many Detroit producers and artists turned up, including Clay McMurray, McKinley Jackson, Woody Wilson and many more, it was a very moving day.

  19. Hi All On sundays 'Soul People Show' on Solar, I played a track by Johnny Johnson & The Bandwagon - Where the feeling is real. On the show I said that I thought it was a LP track, a whole bunch of people emailed me to say they couldn't find it, so I searched myself and can't find any info on it. Does any one know if this nice group stepper came out anywhere, does anyone have the Kent CD that came out a few years ago, is it on there. The acetate I played it off as always gives few clues, it does have some sort of cat No, but I can't match that to anything. Here is a link to the show, it's in the second hour, but will get it into Refro later also.
