New Discoveries 6Ts/7Ts Northern & Rare Soul
Dave Thorley replied to Russ Vickers's topic in Look At Your Box
The Hudson People got played a lot back in the day around the country, originally on the Hit House 12" release, which is a better mix, so much so that Ensign picked it up and put out a 12" & 45. Was very popular at Stafford in the early 80's. Recently it has seen a third release as a re-edit on the Arision label, but not heard that. -
Dennis Jones - Is there a reason - Plug Alternate Take of 'The way the world will be', that came out on Soul Craft

Just to add to Ady great info..... Production on both Baby, Baby & Hey Senorita was by Tony Clarke (with assistance from LeBaron Taylor & Don Davis). Arrangements by McKinley Jackson. Buddy Smith also claims to have been on both these recordings, but hard to confirm this. Tony was given the money to fund his own label (Brute), as part of his deal with Chess records.

Oh yes, Malayka (my wife) met one of them in the last month. More to follow soon
