  2. His LP 'No Time For Dreaming' was one of the new release high lights of the last few years, a must for any LP collection. It had a rawness that captured the sound of 70's, with current recording values. Hope some of that can be found on this LP !!!
  3. Goes a bit like this. He saw it listed for the sweet side by a guy in Detroit, opening bid $9.99, forgot to bid. Didn't sell so when guy re-listed it, he won it at $$$$. Record came in a jiffy bag broken in two, gutted to say the least. There are at least 4 in the UK, Butch, Marco, George and I think Arthur or Sam also have it. Been a big tune on the West Coast Lowrider scene for many years for the sweet flip, guess there are a fair few in some of their collections
  4. Stunning group sweet soul

  6. One of the reasons I enjoy this weekender is that it's along the lines of many in Europe, based in a city centre at several clubs. This gives you the opportunity to see the city as well as enjoy the entertainment, unlike a holiday camp. Also it brings many dj from around Europe, which is a real bonus. Europe has many great DJ's that sadly we rarely get the chance to see, unless you travel over the water. These are a few of the reasons I've been a supporter from the get go. Hope a few of you will get along.

  25. Thanks Pete But having listened to the other track, I do think the instrumental MM&Y is a mis-press. On the other B side, the whole chat is about how good the session was, thanking each other for their work, etc, etc so people chating after a session. The idea that they would just change the pressing half way through doesn't stack up. If, as seems to be the case, a 45 that wasn't selling anyway, it would hardly sell any better by changing the B side and then why not change the label details. Plus then there would be the cost of new mastering and pressing plates, which they wouldn't do on a none hit, un-less there was a pressing fault.
