  17. Hi Ady Totally agree, when I DJ out there hear so many good sets from DJ's that should get heard more over here. Shame we clash on the same night, or we would be down, if only to hear Mark. But I do know of a fair few that are making it a big night out with a trip to us at Villa and then making the 80min trip on down to you. Have a great night. Dave
  18. Winnie Stop trying to figure it out, the scene is Irrational, emotional and generally F*$ked up, always has, always will be. That's why I love it, see irrational
  19. About ten years ago I would always play James Wells-Baby I'm still the same man, at the Ritz allnighter. Would always get a full floor and bollocks to those who couldn't see the soul in it.
  20. Dogs Nuts!!!!!!!!!
  21. Steve's right. No one should be suprised, just cuz the format changed, dosn't mean that many records, lp or singles weren't still badly promoted, only done on small pressing runs etc, etc. The format changed but the black music industry didn't. I've loads of hard to find stuff, got one deal out of an old record promo man in Detroit and hadn't every seen 50 per cent of the stuff I got before. A lot of it is sitting up on the web site for sale at the moment. www.beatst.com
  22. Agree always loved this, but my No1 fav is James Wells-'Baby I'm still the same man' and even better on the 12" played very, very loud
  23. Any movement is positive
