As always lots of sound files, below is a small selection of the arrivals. 45's - Bobby Willams (Nice signed copy), Gail Anderson, Jerome Jones, Steptones (Diamond Jim), Clemmons Smith, James Kelly Duhon, Masterpiece, Moody Scott, Purple GangLP's - Barbara Acklin, Blue Notes (Glades), Chuck Jackson (V.I.P.), Fantastic Four (Soul), Luther, Detroit Soul Sisters, Coke EscovedoThats just a few of the nice things we have, have a look, hope you find something you like. Thanks for looking Dave & Malayka
  13. Hi Dave Thats sad news. He was a great guy, used to work in Brad's shop from time to time. He painted a whole bunch of record boxes for his shop, they look so cool. He also did the artwork for a few of the early classic funky sleeves for Parliment/Funkadelic. Alround nice guy. Dave
  14. Oh what fun we had Chris, all yours and Mace's hard work was well worth it Dave
  15. Did get a bit of play back in the mid to late 80's on the modern and rare groove scenes. Lovely track that deserves to be played out more, always pick up the album when I see it, must have a few in stock, we tend to sell it at £10 and worth every penny for that track alone. Dave
  16. 'The school of life' just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Although he is able to hold conversation, it is a struggle for him. Chances of him being able to write are very limited, even being able to dictate to someone else I think would be a push. But I did speak to one of the carers at the home and the letters that he got from people here did lift his spirits. His family also are greatful to everyone that wrote. I still hope to get back to see him before the end of the year. The collection that was put together by Andy D is still safe and I will make sure that it gets directly to him and the family. I hoped to do it at the end of last year, but personal pressures stopped that. Dave
  18. Cheers Chalks Two interesting post, hope to see you soon Dave
  19. Have you put a link in the Ebay sales section on here, may get a few more watching. Also did you list your stuff on Ebay UK or U.S. Ebay U.S. gets a better response, but it is a bit of an arse setting up the auction page.
  20. Looks like studio A at Motown, does anyone know who the lady playing bongos?
  21. At a guess I would say it was Sam who played it and it would be the Bamboos, as he plays this version.
  22. No thats about what I value it at, so that it sells, and it has. Don't put things on here just to show off or squeeze the very last penny, as I've said before. Dave
  23. Jock Mitchell, Dena Barnes, Papa Bear, Buddy Conner, Limmie, Douglas & Lenero, all on there way to new homes, thanks again for a great response. Still shed load of nice tunes on the site!!!!!!!!! Dave
  24. Papa Bear, Buddy Conner, Limmie, Douglas & Lenero All gone Thanks for all the calls and messages Dave
