  1. Now theres your problem, the group seem to be very sketchy about Jenny's leaving the band and actually stating the name of her re-placement. Here is the group home page, but it doesn't help that much. Unless you contact them for full details https://www.baberuthband.com
  2. I don't know if this helps, lead vocalist was originally Janita (Jenny) Hann. By the time of the sucess in the U.S. and U.K., she had left the band and the new lead vocalist ?, was used for the re-recording of the track. The group originated from Hatfield, Herts. Jenny now spends time in the U.S. and has rejoined the group and they have had recent albums. Below is a photo of her in the 70's
  3. Un-released Philly thing, recorded on the same session as the Nu-Rons - All of my life. Have the rights to put it out, which we will late this year.
  4. Here's one, something new that is, not a scrotum
  5. Don't you mean inner scrotum !!!! ?
  6. There she is, stunning vocals
  7. Not that well known, even though Sam has it, don't think he's played out much. As an aside, odd picture, as it is missing the girl that does the stunning vocals.

  9. Yes I did, thats what it has sold for a few times over the last year or so. If your buying based on condition, you should be able to get it between £100-£170. There were a bunch of stone mint ones going through Ebay a few years ago, There are also a fair few Mint-, VG+ and VG copies around as well.
  10. These price are pretty much as I said, have seen it on here at the cheaper end, just need to keep an eye out. If your selling, would have thought £150 would get it away if it's good condition.
  11. Used to be as much as £250, but now days about £100 - £180 depending on condition.
  12. Hi Dave Don't think the Sketches is aweful, but a little on the poppy side. Odd track, cuz sounds nothing like any other Cleveland track. Cheers Dave
  13. Not alot of difference in price, as different people prefer different versions, except for the Morning Glory later release which is about £10-£15
  14. Long thread about this last year, have a look Cheers Dave

The family hour is at 10:00AM. Edd Henry is preaching the services.
  17. Whats the odd 20 days between friends
  18. Big thanks to John & Dave for all their hard work getting this out on the streets. A cool 10 track vinyl LP, in their usual nice packageing with informative sleeve notes from Bill, giving us his story todate. The Lp covers his solo career after leaving the Cleeveland based Soul Notes, with recordings from Cleveland and L.A. The set includes 6 previously un-relaesed tracks, and the mighty 'I can't wait (for the weekend), plus a alternative take of the song. So pleased to see this on the streets. Dave
  19. bland allison - can't get back to you again 2 - mt merger - you pick me up - soul-tbc
  20. They are both great tracks, but will need a fair bit of work. They are on 30 year old 1/4in tapes, so a bit of restoration needed, but Ady C is giving me the contact details of the guy they use for the Kent releases, so fingers crossed.

  22. I'm sure this will stay rare on original. Manny who owns the rights and label has non-left, not even a file copy. I have the option on releasing it and will do by the end of the year, but first I want to put out two un-released tracks by the group that Manny has sent me.
  23. No Bob it should be me that is apologising, I shouldn't have used the word 'Booted' Cheers Dave
  24. Hi Bob It was booted in the 70's around the time it was popular in the UK.
