Sat 18th February - Guest DJ Dave West (Soul at the rooms & Skegness Weekender). Sat 15th April - Guest DJ Twink (Leeds Central). Sat 20th May - Guest DJ Philip Turner (Walton soul club) & John Crowther (Doncaster). Sat 17th June - Guest DJ Mick Glover (Junction 36). Sat 15th July - Guest DJ Jayne Hulme (GP Jayne) & Linda K (The Grange - Rotherham & Napoleons - Bradford) Sat 19th August - Guest DJ Chris Gwatkin. Sat 21st October - Guest DJ Al Taylor. Sat 18th November - Guest DJ Mick Daly Sat 16th December - Guest DJ Mike Ward (York) (No soul night at the Hopetown WMC in March or September 2023)

    Down to the last two events for the Five Towns Soul Club at the Hopetown WMC this year. Guest DJ for this one is Mick Boyes (Hydro soul club) - had Mick on as guest DJ last year, always plays a cracking set. I've had a number of people inquiring about event dates for Knottingley Town Hall - still waiting for the town hall management to confirm 2023 dates. Back at the Hopetown WMC in two months Sat 3rd December - with guest DJ Billy Backdrop.

    Phil Varley Great to see all our FTSC besties last night. Some super sounds played out by Eddie, Sooty and little Dave the 5 towns crew, guest dj Mike Ward played a belting mix of tunes, something for everyone, take a bow guy’s!! Till next time….

Thx to Little Dave, Sooty and Eddie for the invite to spin a few toons and hopefully managed to get in a bit of something for everybody. See you next month on Sat 1st Oct when my big m8 Mick Boyes will be doing a spot. If you've not been to this venue before give it a try ... nice big dance floor, plenty of seating, decent bar prices , good parking and really nice peeps .... you won't be disappointed Onwards & upwards guys
