Satrurday 22nd of February.......our usual last Saturday of the month event ....BUT.........BIRTHDAY ALERTS !!!!!!! Mine ....Jimmy Cowburn and Pete Hailes' Birthdays all being celebrated this evening .........7pm start .....Late finish !!!!!!!! Two rooms ....both with great dancefloors playing everything covered under the banner of Rare Soul ......Expect RnB ....well known and lesser known classics .......rarities.......right through to Crossover and new releases ...ALL PLAYED ON ORIGINAL RELESASES.!!!!........If you want to hear it ask ....and if we brought it ....we'll play it for you !!! All the usual suspects will be DJing as well as Brent Howarth in the main room and Luci Jones in the Dolly Room xxx....PLUS.......Debuting ....we are pleased to announce Mr Mike Roche......(reluctantly ....but fearing violence from Dolly !!) All the usual bonuses ....£6 for 2 rooms ......Free soft drinks ....snacks .....tea and coffee. No Bar ......No staff.........Bring your own booze if you require a tipple !! Look forward to seeing you !!!!!!

WE'RE BACK !!!!.....After a sabbatical in January !!( whatever that is ??? )....Pleased to say that normal service is resumed.....we WILL be on the LAST Saturday of every month ......As usual 2 Rooms....both with great dancefloors.....Guest This month Steve Mc Williams. Plus nearly all our usual resident team are back in attendance !! As usual ......Music policy.....Main Room Better known ....but not worn out proper Soul aimed directed at the dancefloor !! Dolly Room Lesser know .....but equally as jiggable ?? So ......if you haven't yet attended.....please do......and i can assure a friendly ...nay ....enthusiastic welcome. As ever....if we brought it and you ask for it we'll play it !!( Rumour has it George has recently acquired a top collection once belonging to the Shah of Iran ) P.S......heads up for February.........Jelly and Icecream.....triple birthday event xxx

Going from strength to strength this venue ....as it should with the quality of tunes played 2 rooms ....both with good dancefloors Main Room ......Quality Oldies and Rarities plus some surprises Dolly Room ......Quality lesser known stuff and rarities Resident DJ's Dave Hutchy, George Falzon ,Jimmy Cowburn ,Dolly , Kev McCaffrey Tony Mundey ,Steve Condron ....and Moi ......plus guests !!!!........Between that lot sure you'll hear something to get your feet moving !!! ALL ORIGINAL !!!!!!! Late finish .........Dancers decide how late !!!! ......we lock up when we've finished !. In the meantime .....Have a wonderful Christmas .......and you never know .....That Frank Wilson is still for sale !!!!!! !!

Just a late call for tonight .....I will personally guarantee the best mix of Soul and all it's affiliate sounds played anywhere in the UK tonight on original vinyl !!!!......If you turn up and prove me wrong I'll refund your money !!!!!.......I am basing that of course on the fact you won't be in another venue at the same time !!!!

Just another nudge on the "do " this saturday.......Mick Smith ( from up ere ) is the guest Every time i've heard him play it's amazing the stuff he pulls out .......and he's on in the main room too this time !!! Hope some new folk get the urge to land ....last month was good ...with half decent numbers in both rooms !!!......As i explained to someone today when asked what the music was like ????......."Mrs it'll blast yer tits off " was my informative reply !!!

Main Room expect to hear right across the board music policy......Dj's left to their own choices....feel free to request the tunes you'd like to hear ....If we've brought it ...we'll play it !! Resident DJ's ....Dave Hutchy....Kev McCaffrey ...George Falzon...Steve Condron....Tony Mundey.....plus Big JC (Jimmy Cowburn ) .....Dolly ....and Me !! Someone was asking about the floors. Yep....there are 2 wooden dancefloors ....and I can definitely assure you they are BOTH very good to dance on and certainly big enough !!!.......Main room is much bigger so I reckon that's £4 of your costs and the other smaller one £2......Either way .....£6 for a two room original vinyl event takes a bit of beating !!!
