Hey folks, Got a query about a Nick Ashford 45 on Verve. I have two copies of "I Don't Need No Doctor/Young Emotions". One of them, which is the first copy I bought has "Young Emotions" stamped on both sides but one side plays "doctor". Just wanted to know whether or not this one would be a boot or whether there are a few others stamped "Young Emotions" on both sides. Certainly plays loud and clear like my other copy. Mainly trying to find out so if I sell it to anyone I'm not ripping them off by selling them a boot. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Adam

Hey folks, Hoping someone can give me a value for Jackie & Tut's "10 2 Double Plus" on the Dawn label. Can only find info on that label on 45cat which says nothing in terms of what it would go for. The usual places (popsike, collectorsfrenzy, discogs etc) only show the Chess release and there's a couple on sale around the $70-$100US mark. My guess is this is the local release. It's obviously not what you'd call a "northern" record (it'd be worth a plug nickel on that scene methinks) but if anyone in the know can offer any assistance that'd be much appreciated. Cheers Adam

Hey there folks, Wondering if anyone can help me with this query. There's a Clarence Green & the Rhythmaires 45 "Lil Green/Minor Mountain" (think he recorded most of his Rhythmaires work on Duke) - this one was released on the Rhythmaires label which I'm guessing was just a local release. There's absolutely bugger all about this tune on the interwebs. I did ask Mr Fine Wine about this (was on his Downtown Soulville show where I first heard it) and his knowledge on this one is as good as mine. Wouldn't mind finding some more information on this record particularly in terms of how much it would be worth before I put out a want ad. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Adam

Tell me about it. Manship had one until very recently but was going for a bit more than what it ought to (won't quote exact figure lest any sellers go "ooh I can ask that much?" etc). Should've just bought it. Nearly got one for 90 but turned out to be the wrong record.
