  2. I presume your referring to Dave Withers? a very respected guy / record dealer / DJ from the Manchester area now residing in the U.S.A. the programme also featured him selling records on Bury Market and operating a lathe.
    A busy night with many old faces & a “up for it” crowd that kept the floor busy all evening! thanks to Mick & Andy for organising a great event
  3. Over the years we’ve had many great nights at STUBSHAW & at TONYS EMPRESS so really looking forward to celebrating these venues on the 23rd MARCH & will be posting up some photos, there is a fantastic Buzz building for this All-Dayer & we look forward to seeing you there

  11. I never realised that first release was an edited version, so the Goldmine & Beatin Rhythm are the same ? Ive always liked the “Harthon” sound as such & also like the totally new cover version. hopefully the writing credits situation can be resolved
  12. Just a query but if Eddie Holman wrote the lyrics why is he not mentioned in credits on any of these labels? & where does Harthon Music Publishing come into this as they are listed on the BMI data base as publishers for IWYTWOH & Bird walkin ?

  15. Terrible shock to hear of Craig’s passing a lovely lad with big personality and the dance moves to match! I think we first met at the Carousel on Plymouth Grove in Manchester eventually both DJing at the venue and for the last time at Blackpool a couple of weeks back with his usual friendly handshake and beaming smile, sincere condolences to Jayne and family rip Craig P
