Hi, Help - I`ve just restarted collecting in the age of the internet, and I`m totally out of touch with what records are realistically worth these days. I`m using ebay for some buys and Soul Source of course, but need to know a certain record`s rough worth to start with. Someone put me onto popsike as a useful website and I look at John Manship but apart from those I don`t know where else to look. Any info gratefully received. Thanks and regards, Pete

Wow - been on ebay for a few hours and see what you mean! I think saving harder and buying £15 - £20 originals is the way to go then. I`m still intrigued by what monster cover-ups I`ve missed though? Thanks and regards,

Hi All, I went to my last Allnighter (Wigan) in 1981 and stupidly sold my record collection. I`m now getting back into Northern Soul, buying what records I can afford and just wondered what 60s stormers I`ve missed in the past 32 years (or is it a mega list)? Also I`d be interested to know if they`ve been reissued (if that still happens) - I know original vinyl rules but believe me my finances are such that I`m restricted to 70s boots or some original say £10ish sounds. Thanks in advance and please be gentle with me!

Jeeeeeeezzzz!!! As the OP putting down my first post I`m amazed the debate has taken the twists & turns that it has! My take on things: 1/ It seems as if the scene is in reasonable shape. 2/ I can`t wait to attend my first event for 30 years, make new friends, hear or rehear great old and new sounds, get that feeling of belonging etc. 3/ I`m going to carry on collecting originals that I can afford 4/ There are some brilliant and knowledgeable members on this website 5/ Happy New Year to everyone and hope 2013 brings all that you`re looking for Best wishes, Pete
