  1. Looking forward to playing Keele again! Always a great night.
  2. We're thrilled to announce that Jake Rigby will be our guest DJ for the 4th edition of The Room at The Top on Saturday 4th May! Jake is a fantastic guy whose DJ skills have flourished through years of being active in both the soul and scootering scenes. He's been spinning tunes on both circuits, drawing from his deep-rooted love for music that began when he attended soul events with his parents at a young age, eventually carving his own path collecting original vinyl. Recently, our friend Jon Allan described Jake on Facebook as one of the scene's most underrated DJs. Inspired by this, we couldn't resist showcasing Jake's talent for igniting the dance floor by having him as our guest DJ at Room at The Top Soul Club! The Skidde ticket link will be available soon to secure your tickets. Remember, we sold out last time, so don't miss out on this unforgettable night!
  3. Deep City is an inspirational story that explores the early days of soul music in South Florida, the pioneers of that era and their lasting contributions to the broader American musical landscape. During mid-1960s Miami, producers Willie Clarke and Johnny Pearsall masterminded Deep City Records. Both from the mean streets of Miami, this duo honed the business and musical skills learned in college and went on to change the face of soul music in Miami, and eventually the country by creating the first black-owned record label in Florida. Deep City is a documentary that delves into the life and times of these groundbreaking producers, their label, the unique artists they spawned and the remarkable era in which they accomplished it.
  4. Not long to go now! Always a pleasure to be part of the line up at Shaun's 'Original Soul Promotions' events.

  7. Hey everyone! We are all really excited for tomorrow night's 3rd edition of 'The Room at The Top'! We thought we would share some details, especially for our first-time attendees: Doors Open at 11pm: Unfortunately, we can't open the doors open any earlier due to the space being occupied by four bands earlier in the evening. We'll be getting things ready at 10:30pm, ensuring the equipment is sorted, and the dance floor is cleaned and prepped! Pre-Party Spot: If you're looking for a pre-party spot, head over to MG Blues 5th Anniversary All-Dayer at The English Lounge, Manchester, M4 1EA. Most folks are gathering here before our doors open at 11pm. Dress to Dance: Get ready to turn up the heat! It's going to be hot, hot, hot, so dress accordingly and be prepared to dance! Limited Seating: Seating is limited, but feel free to grab a spot along the front of the stage. We'll be rearranging the decks to create more space for everyone. Ticket Reminder: Please, please, please don't forget to get a ticket! As of now, we have just ONE ticket left. No tickets will be available at the door, and entry without a wristband is a no-go for safety reasons. Let's avoid any disappointment at the entrance. Toilet Locations: For those who were on a quest for the toilets last time, unisex toilets are located near the dance floor, and on the 3rd floor of Attama, you'll find separate male and female facilities. Get ready for an incredible night! Let's make it a night to remember!
