  1. Looking for a pre-The Room at The Top warm up? Join Darren Sykes at The Piccadilly Tap, (located just outside Manchester's Piccadilly station). An ideal place to meet up before The Room At The Top, which kicks off at 11pm. Darren will be there from 6pm until late! The Soul City is alive this weekend!

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

  2. 'The Room at The Top' is back this Saturday – just 5 days to go! It's our final event before the Christmas break. We return back on Saturday 24th February! Whether you're a young soul or forever young soul, The Room At The Top is where it's at! Our guest DJs for the night are Sam McEwen from Blackbee Soul Club and Ben Owen. Plus, our residents, Jordan Wilson, Connor White, and Charles Simpson, keeping the music flowing until 4am.

This club draws its inspiration from the dark, gritty basement clubs of the 60s and 70s, taking you back to the roots of our all-night dance scene. Expect dim lighting, a great atmosphere, and uptempo soul that will keep you dancing until 4am.

You can find us tucked away in the back alleys of Manchester's Northern Quarter, and the nearest car park is just a 5-minute walk away – look for 21 Tariff St Parking. Looking for the warm up party? There are many bars in the area. Last time, most of our crowd gathered at the Peer Hat!

    See you all Saturday.

  3. The countdown has begun!

We're just 8 days away from returning to AATMA for another Room at The Top Soul Club #2 ! To say we're excited would be an understatement. Looking back at our previous event, it was totally electric, and we can't wait to experience that all over again.

Your special guest DJs for the night will be Black Bee Soul Clubs, Sam McEwen, and Whitchurch's finest, Ben Owen! Expect diverse sounds ranging from classic Motown dancers, funk, classic Northern Soul gems, to crossover movers, and of course some rarer, unknown and brand new releases! This is soul without boundaries.

  4. We're almost there!

On Saturday 28th October, we are heading back into the heart of the city. This is our final event before we take a break for Christmas, returning in late February. Our special guest DJs are Sam McEwen (from Black Bee Soul Club) and Whitchurch's very own Ben Owen, playing the finest soul tunes, spun, of course, from original vinyl.

Never-mind the current wave of revival nights; come and enjoy the moment with us in this unique space. If you missed our previous event, Room at The Top Soul Club is located at AATAMA in Manchester's Northern Quarter. We are a late-night dance club inspired by the beat clubs of the 60s and 70s!

  7. Hello everyone,

Excitement is building for our upcoming opening night at The Room at The Top! We have a few important details to share with you:

Event Timing: Before our event, the venue is hosting a band performance. Please note that we won't be able to grant entry before 11pm sharp! This time is essential for us to set up the space and ensure the floor is clean and ready for the night ahead. While you wait, remember that the city is alive!

Get in the groove early at The Piccadilly Tap, where DJs Alex Johnson, Darren Sykes, and Dave & Lynne Girwood will be spinning soulful tunes. Additionally, 'YES' will be hosting soul sounds featuring Mattie Bolton from London's renowned 100 Club.

Intimate Dance Space: Our venue draws inspiration from the basement clubs of the 60s and 70s. Seating is limited because we're all about creating a dynamic dance floor that encourages movement and connection. Expect an intimate space that will heat up fast! Keeping you grooving until the wee hours.

Ticket Status: Online ticket sales are already at 46.67%! To secure your spot and avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. After months of promotion, we wouldn't want anyone missing out.

Beware of Scams: Unfortunately, some online posts are advertising fake tickets. Stay cautious and only buy your tickets through trusted sources like Skiddle or at the door. We're actively working to remove scam posts.

As we gear up for this new era of hardcore soul music, rest assured, we're staying true to the heart of Soul-City's essence. No frills, just pure, unadulterated soul that takes us back to the old-school vibes we love.

Can't wait to see you all on the dance floor!
