  7. Just a thought if you feel like it. Swappers how about posting up our track listings so we can show the others what they are missing. Cheers Pat PS - Great CD's so far, think this one has all the ingredients of one the best swaps I have been involved in. Of the CD variety of course
  8. A few records that define Crossover Soul for me that, of course there are many more are - NOLAN CHANCE - I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU (THOMAS) FRANK LYNCH - YOUNG GIRL (MY RECORD) LITTLE REUBEN - IN THE NAME OF LONLINESS (NR) THE VISITORS - MY LOVE IS READY AND WAITING (TRC) However sticking to Gareth's rule of just the one. This record is the 'Crossover Sound' that I feel has all the ingredients IMHO of this widely interpreted style of Soul, all the way from New York - DON GARDNER - YOUR LOVE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY (Mr G) Cheers Pat

  12. Agreed, 'tis a fantastic LP something for everyone on this LP from Jazzy tunes ala The Creator, Jazz Funkers - Stella, plus beautiful soul ballads - title track and Listen. Album Features Eleanor Mills. Easily obtained and essential. Good call Dennis Pat
  13. Just spotted the online at once record has been broken an hour ago = 236, previously was last September. With nearly 12,000 members as well it just goes to show Soul Source continues to go from strength to strength. Congrats to all
  14. Think I know him very well too Reckon that was the lowest price for TT on Malaco in a long while. YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE
  15. An essential Soul LP that has consistantly sold for £150+ over the years, nowdays in a 'buyers market' I reckon Dave is spot on with his evaluation. Pat

  21. Hi Brett I've got a 25 'cube' Expedit 5 across/5 high. As already mentioned perfect size for LP's/12's and very strong, therefore I will endorse the above recommendation. The various Billy bookcases (also Ikea) are great for the 45s. Cheers Pat
