  6. Anyone visited John Moore's shop in Philadelphia. ? We called him Ruggy Moore as he had the worst syrup you could imagine, precariously balanced on his head. Initially Ruggy came across as a miserable bleeder, but cheered up a bit after 5 of us had purchased a few piles of vinyl.
  7. No problem. Fantastic and essential LP. Every Soul home should have a copy

  11. I've had a first from our friends in Customs after years of records shipped from the USA. A record I paid $10 for and had a $5 value on the parcel could not be delivered unless I paid £16.75 duty on it. When I asked the Post Office they said that Customs randomally slap a charge on parcels. Has anyone else experienced this and is this shape of things to come as the government seek another revenue making stream ? Cheers Pat

  19. Great topic Brett. The was a very inspirational article in Voices From The Shadows No. 14 by John Lias entitled Top 100 LP's of all time, at the time albums that I didn't have in the collection I acquired most of them over a period of time. Here's 10 highlights for me :- PAUL KELLY - DON'T BURN ME PAUL KELLY - HOOKED, HOGTIED AND COLLARED BOBBY WOMACK - HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS SOUL CHILDREN FRICTION DELLS & DRAMATICS - DELLS Vs DRAMATICS LUTHER INGRAM - DO YOU LOVE SOMEBODY OLLIE NIGHTINGALE - SWEET SURRENDER DELLS - SECOND TIME BOBBY WOMACK - POET 2 CLARENCE CARTER - LONLINESS AND TEMPTATION Cheers Pat
