  4. I've voted for Carl 'cause I've had Babs for years and don't own Carl (Anyone wanna a straight swap?) The 'I must have been loco' line from Sims just edges it for me and Wet Paint is a more interesting looking label. Sound reasoning all the way ! Pat

  7. Sam Dees "Easier to say than do" on Lo Lo - oh dear is that a seriously good tune or what? Craig immediately wrote it down which is always a good sign that he wants a copy. There's also a great version of Easier....... by Charles Hodges on Calla. Hard to decide which is the superior version. Having just spun them both I think CH just shades it. Pat

  12. Had a couple of days off work and spent most of it filing my 7''s I decided to file all my sixties by region/city - Detroit, Windy City, Philly, New York, West Coast, Southern States & various, then UK label Soul, major label, ie Atlantic, RCA, Columbia etc, 70's Soulful Dance, 80's Independent and Deep Soul. Having just labelled up the shelves I'm proud of my achievement and called the missus into the record room for her to admire. She responded by saying I could sell them now, 3 for a quid and promptly told me I should get back to work. Cheers Pat
