All unused repress 45s, I'll be playing them on my show tomorrow and trying to sell them during the show. 12-2pm www.purple-radio.co.uk if you miss the show go towww.mixcloud.com/stephent and look for Stephen T's Sunday Soul soup Show - Sales Special #1 I don't imagine they'll all go during the show. 18. sweet I love those lovers covers of soul tunes- will keep an eye out. cheers
  19. Cheers Sean and Soul Stu. Year OV is great if you can get them for under about £30 but represses are great too for those expensive records. I'm away that normal people are impressed I'm playing records and wouldn't even be aware of any significance regarding types of pressing..
  20. Do floors empty when a repress is played? How do dancers know what issue it is? At my soul club we have only been playing originals but we want different music each time and playing repress opens you up to being able to play a lot more great tunes which is what it's all about. My new years resolution will be to play represses sometimes at Bless My Soul! Also I'm a bit new- what's "OVO debate." please? original versus o....???
  21. Is it a lovers rock version of Jones Girls?
  22. I was interested to read in the Top 500 book that the JJ Barnes is more highly ranked/ rated. I always prefer the Darrell Banks version anyway. Who bought the record for 15k?
