Ha, the Al Kent thing... One day a few years ago, when I was releasing a record with a dirty great Chic sample, the label guy phones and said I had to put a false name on it, and I had ten minutes to decide before it went to press. I started looking through records for something clever, but ran out of time and just randomly picked Al Kent, which was kinda cool for one release. But then it stuck. And I can't really get rid of it now! I wish I'd chosen something a bit better tbh

Thanks mate - as far as I can work out, it's a bootleg rather than a reissue, so it's same tracks etc. Can you maybe look at the runout on the vinyl and tell me what it says??

So, I've got this album here, but it seems a bit clean, a bit new to be an original press. I've just looked around and see it's been reissued. Can anyone tell me what to look for... Runout on this one says "Round A" and "Round B". Thanks for any help...

I didn't realise the Hott Ice was so well known.. Just heard it recently. I have the Chain Reaction 12", and thought this was a nice alternative version. But maybe not at a grand! I'll stick with the 12.

I'm writing a piece on the UK disco scene, and I'm wondering what was going on in Scotland at that time? Were there any clubs playing decent contemporary dance music? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
