    A huge thanks to everyone who came down to the packed Bay yesterday and to everyone who contributed to the raffle by donating prizes or buying raffle tickets. Lots of dancing from some great music provided by the dj's John Mitchell Mark Sharrocks Alan Reedy Stevie Hay Wayne Butterworth and Graham John Anderson. Also a massive thanks to our host Denise for sorting the raffle out and making a lovely tater ash to soak up the beer! We raised in total £242 for the Royal British Legion which was rounded up and donated yesterday. Once again thanks for making it a great day

    Vance, Linda, Andy and Big Shed as usual will be filling the resident spots at this cracking little venue with music right across the board, something for everyone. As always we're on from 8pm until 2.00am ( bar open until 1am) and entry is just £4 on the door. No entry after 11pm. Good dance floor, very cheap bar and great company. The Carlton Club is on Bury Old Road on the main route from Manchester to Prestwich, (135 Bus Service) and just 5 minutes walk from Heaton Park Metrolink Station

    Just to say a big thank you to everyone who came down to the Polish club yesterday, we had approx 180 generous people attending. A long but successful day where we raised £1,265 for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Neil Horsman and Maureen Reedy. A real team effort. Great spots by the DJ's on the day John Mitchell Paul Taylor Linda Miller Wayne Butterworth Ronnie Hanley Alan Massey Dennis Black Alan Reedy and last but certainly not least Stevie Hay who provided the equipment for the day. All the DJ's gave their time for free. A big thanks to the bar staff, will we do this again at the Polish club, who knows! Watch this space.

    A massive thank you to everyone for making Sunday great day. Thanks to the guest dj's for keeping the dancefloor moving, some noteable tunes, Stevie Hay with the Drifter and Big Don's Rebellion, Andy Mccabe with the Del Larks and Sam Williams, Kev Murphy with Lester Tipton and Ree Flores and not forgetting co promoter Pete Eccles with the Hytones and the Constellations. I could go on but those were just some of the great tunes played yesterday. Always the second Sunday of the month offering different dj's bringing different sounds to keep it real and fresh. Take care and hope to see you next month (see 10th October listing)
