  1. Aha Mr Thorley that makes imminent sense Young Devines for THE record of 2009 then Cheers Steve
  2. Thanks for that. I understand why someone would bootleg the first one with all the latest (at the time) mega rare Northern & early Modern monsters (which again at the time were really hard to find!) from circa 1980/1 BUT i cannot understand the list above? Very interesting though! Cheers Steve
  3. i think i've a spare of this at home - need to check tonight? It's a bootleg LP (I'm sure you all knew that though?) BUT never heard the re-pressing story Pete? I don't think I've ever had or seen one either? Cheers Steve
  4. Just spent a few minutes reading the links Sean gave us in post#1 about our tips for 2007 & 2008. Makes fascinating reading too Mr Thorley you should note (no pun intended) that me & thee had this in our 2007 tips too!!!! So why not, let me re-tip it again too - The Young Devines - Ain't that sharp............monster in 2009????? Cheers Steve
  5. Hi All Just been told by the organisers that there are nearly 70 Brits booked into the Bilbao 'Soul4real meets Soul Essence' weekender in Feb'09 www.soulmusic.co.uk/Links.htm I believe there are a few from 'Oop North' flying from Stansted this year, so I thought i'd see if was worth some of us clubbing together and hiring a mini-bus to get us down to Stansted (& back!) So if you're flying from Stansted on the Thursday and returning on the Sunday and you're 'North of Watford' maybe we can sort something out between us? We could maybe pick up in Lancashire, pick up in Yorkshire, then make our way down the A1 to sunny Stansted? Please drop me an email on stevep@itlnet.com if you're interested? It may also be possible to sort out Friday to Sunday Stansted flyers OR even Heathrow flyers so again, drop me a line if you are up for it? Cheers Steve
  6. Think I told you this last time you asked a few weeks ago Chris

  9. Hi Mark 2 weeks ago i'd have had it in ANY condition............it was like an itch i couldn't scratch! Now i have it on MINT UK my itch has been soothed (about 25 times up to now!). A mint US Prodigal is now on the wants list BUT I need to keep the mint UK London until that time - but thanks for the offer! Anyway, this thread is Blakes, so i guess you'll have to negotiate with Rottweiller Helliwell, as i can guess his itch is driving him mad too! Cheers Steve

  16. Hiya Mark Yes I was aware of the MB 12" (even though i do only have the Was A Bee 12" & MB CD meself) Should have said - Is it the Was A Bee feat Mario Bionde version OR the solo Mario Bionde version? Cheers Steve
  17. Sorry to hear this mate! I love your show and have done since you started! Haven't tuned in as often as i could recently (difficult as someone said with late night and no sky+) but usually manage at least a couple a month! Solar was a breeze cos i sky+ it every week and listened in me own time during the week. The quality of your shows is always 100% and I always love the passion you put into your presentation, particularly like the 'ohh' when a great track was about to drop Hope you get summat sorted soon (preferably on a sky+ able station!) Take care Steve
