  1. ORIGINAL - Patti & The Emblems - I'm Gonna Love You A Long Long Time - Kapp #K-897 DJ Styrene Demo with Red 'A' on correct side - A proper original US promo from 1968 Unfortunately, it has needle burn all through it and I would only rate it at as VG condition (about 5 out of 10) Does not have any scratches, just a few lite marks and plays nice and loud BUT has annoying distortion underneath. Could be used to DJ with? MP3 available - Labels are clean with age fading and a small sticker removal mark - See scan below Will offer it here on this Soul Source thread ONLY for the next couple of days before it goes on my discogs site HERE Priced accordingly for what I consider a fair price PM me if you are interested and would an MP3 directly from the 45 with no editing at all Cheers Steve

  14. Hi Malcolm Try searching for Alex Subinas on FB, here's on there for sure and there's a Soul4real FB group The Bilbao weekender is always brilliant and the city is superb - more than recommended :-) Cheers Steve
  15. There's a massive thread on the discogs marketplace forum about boots being withdrawn from sale from the master database. The Northern boots are a miniscule part of the overall size of the boots they are withdrawing. Cos discogs has taken over the world, rumour is they are ready to be bought by a massive company and are cleaning up there database to avoid litigation in future? Not sure exactly on figures but they have summat like 35 million items in the database and have currently removed summat like 35 thousand boots (might be more?) from all genres. and it's growing daily. They stay on the database as reference but you cannot sell/buy them anymore. Steve
  16. Proper original HERE Cheers Steve
  17. Got one HERE Phil Cheers Steve
  18. Sorry to hear this Barry :-( Had some amazing nights there over the years literally from the very beginning and it's such a shame to see it end like this All the very best on the 11th August mate 21 years - I reckon you could say it has been a legendary venue not only for Northern Soul but for 70's/Crossover, Soulful Garage, 90's/Y2K Modern Soul, 60's Rare and Underplayed etc etc Cheers Steve
  19. Nice one Chalky, the Manchester event was fabulous wasn't it? I went with my wife and kids and we all loved it I never stopped smiling the whole way through, it was absolutely great Go see at all costs is my advice :-) Cheers Steve
  20. Totally shocked A lovely man who loved his Soul Music RIP Jim x Steve
  21. Oops might have the wrong Dave? Thought you was Dave Harrison? Ignore the bit about not remembering it but the rest is still correct ;-) Steve
  22. Hiya Dave We played it occasionally at The Orwell (when we could get Barry to add the CD player LOL) so surprised you don't remember it? Killer tune and one i'm surprised hasn't yet appeared on those 45 Motown box sets? Cheers Steve
  23. I've sold loads and loads of this great 45 over the years The Blue or pale Green issues are pukka - never been booted as far as I know? Used to sell 'Boom' to the Funk scene and 'Signs' to the 70's/Crossover scene back in the day. Now both sides are bought and played by peeps on the Northern scene. I remember 'signs' as a Derek Smith spin from Morecambe in the 80's and I also remember Ian Clarke playing it too amongst others. Sure it has always been one of those sleepers that 'one day will be massive' Cheers Steve
