  8. Hi Patto Great track which i think you may have bought from my 'cheap as chips' page recently? Tis a great track and one i originally got from a Soul Bowl soul pack in the 70's The Players LP on Minit is also worth getting as it's full of 60's Soul quality Cheers Steve
  9. I think £20 for the demo and £10 for the issue is right................for now! Cheers Steve
  10. One W/D here https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/Northern_Originals_List.htm
  11. Hope it gets a 45 release soon
  12. The Right On version of 'Sweet sweet baby' is very different from the slower version on Dove (actually named 'Sweet sweet man' but the same song). Right On version is later, funkier and discoeyer and is much longer too! T'other side of Right On and Dove releases are different songs though, one being a Crossover classic (Dove) and the other a similar funky discoey dancer (Right On) Cheers Steve
  13. Thanks Rupe, appreciate that I'm afraid I have sold out of the issues and DJ's of Al Williams It was actually the last release on Grapevine 2000 Fabulous record and certainly a rarity of the future as that's the only time it was released anywhere in the world! More about it here https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/grapevine_article.htm Cheers Steve
  14. Hi All Managed to get one for myself from a member on here (thank you ) Could now do with a couple more for friends who now want a copy PM me with price and condition please Cheers Steve
  15. Hi Dave Just checked the MAM copy and it has a Monarch Stamp and 'az' scratched on both sides 'There can be' also has '802-A-RE-2' scratched in the run out groove, and a 'delta' #99892 whilst 'Don't take' has simply '802-B' and a 'delta' #99891X although the 1 has been over-scratched from a 2! Don't have the table to hand but i guess this must be '73/'74 ish? Sure someone will confirm? Hope this helps? Certinaly interesting stuff that has been discussed on here a few times over the years? Cheers Steve
  16. Just a little note to let you know that I have been adding lots of good stuff to the site this week, including 70's Soul classics on original UK labels and some nice original Northern Soul US 45's too! I am still adding something to the si te every day BUT in the last week I’ve added lots of good stuff plus I’ve tweaked prices all across the site. Many of the new 45’s are single copies, so best to get in and have a good early look? As always the majority of the newly added 45’s are on the 'Just Arrived' 'Front Page Focus' 'Rarities' & 'Rare Soul 45's' pages BUT we still add 45's to ALL parts of the site ALL the time as we strive to give the BEST value for money ANYWHERE on the internet. Links to some of these pages can be found below BUT if you’d prefer, simply visit www.soulmusic.co.uk and the rest is simple. As always, you can see and hear any 45 before you buy. AS A COLLECTOR MYSELF I HATE IT WHEN A WEBSITE HAS A GUZILLION RECORDS SPREAD OVER HUNDREDS OF PAGES! ON WWW.SOULMUSIC.CO.UK YOU WILL ONLY FIND 30 OR SO HANDPICKED 45’S ON EACH PAGE, SO EVEN WITH SOUNDCLIPS IT DOES NOT TAKE LONG TO WHIZZ THROUGH THEM! Go on, have a look, you know you want to! Click www.soulmusic.co.uk/Default.htm to view Front Page Focus 45's Click www.soulmusic.co.uk/New_Stuff.htm to view 45's That Have Just Arrived Click www.soulmusic.co.uk/Rarities.htm to view Rare Modern & Northern Soul 45's Click www.soulmusic.co.uk/Northern_Originals_List.htm to view MORE Rare Modern & Northern Soul 45's Spend a little time there - You never know what you'll come out with! Cheers Steve Plumb
  17. Yep, Rod played these both at the same time at Thorne at that time, so more than a coincidence eh?
  18. Think the 3 copies i had were also signed Wayne
  19. Think Rob's right, it's a one tracker (although haven't played the other tracks in many years so maybe some funky northern monster hiding on there LOL) I was lucky enough to buy a copy on ebay (in the late 90's i think?) and the seller offered me two more copies I know the two lads i sold them to still have them and like Rob says, nobody wants to part with it once they've got it! Cheers Steve
