Hi Alan Many thanks for posting this on my behalf - much appreciated. https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/Records_For_Sal...our_2_sides.htm Down to the last couple of copies now! Immaculate condition too I agree a blinding tune that is getting played out at all the top quality venues! btw Guess you all know that this is their first release on Ric Tic and it is also the last of the Red label releases before the swirly Blues ones came in! Agree - JF maybe not reached it's peak yet BUT has certainly been one of the biggest 70's 'discoveries' in 2006! I still think it has yet to truly crossover onto the Northern scene but i think it's well on it's way! Cheers Steve

Hi Pete I reckon you'd have yer arm bitten off to the shoulder if you knocked it out at £25. I'll have the next copy you get then, as i can replace my Gooda Mooga copy (see above!) Cheers Steve

Mine's actually on GooDa Mooga with a pic cover (bought in the 70's) Anyone know the story about this? Always assumed it was a bootleg of the French Googa Mooga release BUT why would it have been bootlegged so long ago? OR are they ALL on Gooda Mooga and we all assume it's on Googa Mooga cos of the more famous French release by Eddie Parker that was available at the same time? Someone must know summat about it?????? Cheers Steve

--> QUOTE(mark.b @ Aug 23 2006, 07:38 PM) link hi steve have had the jackie moore from new release and never played that side guess its gonna get a spin or two, thanks for brining it to my attention. also have spun the be happy track a few time at g/stone the deep side sounds almost like a slowed down backing of it the opening is extremely similar. mark Hi Mark Jackie Moore was an old Rod Dearlove tip from years gone by - sounds fab now (well it always did but you know what i mean!) Sugar Pie DeSanto is an old Tim Brown tip - perfect for plays today methinks! I love that 'deep with a beat' B side too Thanks for the comments - see you soon Cheers Steve

We are proud to have Sam as a resident at The Orwell. Speaking of my experiences with Sam from an Orwell perspective........... Every month he does something different with the accent being firmly on the ability to get people on the dance floor, whether it be Margaret Littles or The O'Jays 'I love music' (played at The Orwell a couple of months ago!). His set at The Orwell always depends on what the guest DJ has done in the hour before BUT he always delivers!!!! He has that 'it' factor and we love him for it I echo all the comments above from al lthe SS members and then some - a true legend of the scene Cheers Steve Plumb

Eddie Foster - I Never Knew - Anyone Got An Original?
Steve Plumb replied to Pete S's topic in Look At Your Box
Checked last night Pete Originals have IN-6311 lightly etched in the run out (very much like your pic) and the name of each track lightly etched on each side (you cannot feel it with your finger)..and that's it! 45 is vinyl. Label is deep blue and printing is sharp! (JM's booty book quotes the differences for the dark blue counterfeit - you said you have a copy of the book?) So you should now be able to confirm (or not) it's authenticity Cheers Steve
