  1. Hi Jason Aye, as you know i always refunded the £2 per 45 everytime anyone bought more than one 45 in one go BUT it was a bit pre-historic PLUS people often thought they'd not get any refund. Regular buyers (like your good self) knew the crack and didn't mind doing it The PayPal shopping cart is working out fine and i can thoroughly recommed it to anyone with a web site Cheers Steve
  2. If yer coming on Saturday mate, I'd bring it with you - there's been a couple sold at The Orwell in the last year or two, for big bucks too! Cheers Steve
  3. www.soulmusic.co.uk New this month - we now have a PayPal Shopping Cart in operation! This is much more convenient for buyers who want to buy more than one 45 in one go! New 45's can be found in the 'New Stuff', 'Rarities' & 'Front Page Focus' sections of the site. We've also added another new section called 'Classics'. Don't forget to check the 45's in the other three sections 'Top Sellers', 'In Stock' & 'More In Stock' as many prices have been tweaked and there are definitely some hidden gems in there at killer prices!!!! ***The newly found original demo of Larry Saunders 'On the real side' is on the site too!*** ***Was also planning on putting the new Solid Solution - Think about it girl 45 on the site this week BUT I got drunk and left a box of 20 at Prestatyn please drop me a PM if you want one? Go on, have a look............you know you want to :-) Cheers Steve

  5. An old Blake Helliwell spin & a current Orwell spin methinks -where'd ya hear it Seany baby First heard it via a Yarmouth tryst between Dave Halsall & Ged Lunt! 45 is dead hard - LP crops up occasionally - last three on ebay have been snapped up by Orwellians Cheers Steve

  8. That's an orig 12" as far as i know - all the copies i've seen (not that many admittedly - say, 5) are like this! Great song as you say Hope this helps Steve
  9. Posting this on behalf of Francis, Glenn and the Real Side records gang, who are releasing this brill double sider this week! On the real side (Original 1974 Turbo version) Probably in most people's Top 10 70's Northern tracks of all time! One of the records that broke the mould. Still in-demand after all these years! This is it's first official 45 release for over 30 years! On the real side (Demo take from the All Platinum archives) What a find! The original demo take from 1974 that gives an interesting and very different slant to the song! I'm sure all the main dealers in the country will be stocking this BUT if you want an early copy or simply just a look and listen why not visit www.soulmusic.co.uk Cheers Steve
  10. Sales have been fantastic over the weekend Just another reminder of the new release on 'Real Side' records - Larry Saunders - On the real side - Original 1974 Turbo version PLUS the original 1974 demo take direct from the All Platinum vaults It's on the site to buy now! Cheers Steve
  11. www.soulmusic.co.uk Just a quick note to let you know that another batch of 45's have just been added to the site! New this month - we now have a PayPal Shopping Cart in operation! This is much more convenient for buyers who want to buy more than one 45 in one go! New 45's can be found in the 'New Stuff', 'Rarities' & 'Front Page Focus' sections of the site. There's a whole bunch of brilliant stuff up there BUT numbers are limited on many of the 45's so you need to get in straight away or risk missing out!!!! Go on, have a look............you know you want to :-) Cheers Steve Plumb 10th March 2007 www.soulmusic.co.uk

  20. Where did you think BazM got it from Snuck in under the radar for a bargain imho Cheers Steve
  21. Great little tune A well known DJ from Selby had this covered up a couple of years ago Another well known DJ from Linslade sold me about 20 copies of this about 10 years ago..........sure i've still got them somewhere too Cheers Steve
  22. Hi Rod Great to see you, Mr Withers & respective other halves at The Orwell I think Nick Allen stands a good chance of getting spins around the place now that DT & BM have copies. I think it could also cross over to the Northern scene cos of it's similarity to Bobby Womacks 'So many sides of you' which i agree does have that 'beachy - good time' feel to it! For the record, my copy came from Sam, who sold it me his copy about 7-8 years ago.............after he purchased it from some guy called Rod Shard Cheers Steve
  23. Don't think so Simon? Think there is a rare 12" on Rota of the better known one by Rideout (Someone special) Cheers Steve
  24. Sorry T.I.M.E..............had that 'Love shortage' thing in me head for some reason! Get it played out mate...............so in March that'll be three copies at The Orwell Cheers Steve
  25. That's cos it's a 45 (hee hee) ..............it's by Rideout on Hot Licks called 'Spend some time' Cheers Steve
