  4. I know what you mean Chris! When i started looking i realised i'd thousands of records i'd never part with at any cost so i've gone for less obvious ones across all genres (and also ones that i could put my hands on MP3's to make it easier to burn too!) Just burnt the master copy and will road test it in the car before burning 'em! BTW Chris - I don't seem to have received any addresses yet - can you please email them to me? Cheers Steve

  9. Hear hear to all those last few posts as they ALL sum up this little gang of CD swappers. I've loved all three swaps and have benefitted in the folowing ways- 1 I've had a reminder of how brilliant certain tunes are and have been able to dig them out of the collection and play them at home and abroad! 2 I've heard some brilliant tunes that i didn't know that i've since picked up for either pence and in some cases quite a few pounds! 3 I've heard some brilliant tunes that I'm still looking for! 4 I've had the pleasure of listening to many well crafted, well put together CD's that encompass all the first three ways above! Anyone who says they know everything about Soul Music be lying their ass off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers Steve

  21. Thanks Steve, sounds encouraging Does anyone have the W/D Boot? Maybe it's a typo in JM's price guide as it isn't in the booty book? Cheers Steve
  22. Hi Mark After you turned an issue up i went-a-hunting cos i presumed it was never issued until you got one! I thankfully turned one up not long after. Yes, it has long taken the place of my demo in the play box For the record my issue is on vinyl Cheers Steve
  23. Hi All I recently got what i thought was an orig W/D of DLR (palm of your hand/learned my lesson) on Soulville. On checking Mr M's price guide it says it was booted BUT it isn't in his booty book? The copy i have is on vinyl with good looking print. It has matrix numbers lightly scratched in the run out groove and the initials 'LW' lightly scratched in too! In fact it looks like they changed their mind which was the A side as this is crossed out on both sides and replaced with another matrix. Anyone shed any light whether this is a boot or not? Thanks in anticipation? Cheers Steve
  24. Cheers M & M will follow it up
