  1. Hi can anybody tell me if Barnaby Bye "Can't Live This Way" on black Nimbus 9 label is a boot. Cheers, Jimmyw
  2. By eck I couldn't have put it better myself, I do enjoy a drink but as I drive most of the time when I go out I just get off on the music and the dancefloor, which still gives me as big a buzz as it ever did
  3. 49 next month, but when I'm out dancing still feel like I did when I was 17, although the morning after sometimes feel 69. My wife used to say that it was about time I started to act my age, I said when my legs pack up completely then I will

  13. Lot's of records make my heart smile , but three in particular would be Solomon King - This Beautiful Day Lou Roberts - Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Love Unique Blend - Yes I'm In Love
  14. For me would have to be a split between 60's northern, 70's and crossover in equal amounts, depends on the record really.
  15. My eldest Daughter is called Tamla, second name Joy as in the Velvet Hammer song. Youngest Daughter is called Jasmin after lyrics to Isley Brothers Summer Breeze, second name Cherrelle after the singer with Alexander O'Niell
  16. My first was Better Use Your head UA reissue from little back street shop in Newcastle in 1976. Last was If I could Turn Back The Hands of Time, Vernon Garrett last month at Ritz in Brighouse
  17. Some great intros mentioned so far, but my nomination would have to go to Bunny Sigler "Follow Your Heart" still gives me a tingling feeling every time I hear it
  18. Not a bad line that, but don't think it beats " You can go and find somebody else-don't need no woman to help me starve to death-can you dig it"
  19. Lady in RED - Ronnie Dyson
  20. Couldn't agree more with Eddie Holman, "I Surender" "Night to Remember" the list goes on and on. Remember seeing him at stafford and when he did "Hey There Lonely Girl" and hit the top note it was total goosebumps time
  21. Two of my favourite Motown tracks Can't SeemTo Get You Out of My Mind - Four Tops Lonely Lover - Marvin Gaye Pure Class
  22. Got to add Long John Baldry's version of The Drifter, absolutely awsome
  23. Obviously Ton of Dynamite would have to go with Blowing Up My Mind
  24. My daughter always calls this Interview With A Rhino, don't know what she's been on
  25. The strangest title for me has to be Inky Dinky Wang Dang Doo, what's that all about
