  1. Richard, flip it over and have a listen to the Babs Tino track "too late to worry" bit of a quirky start but give it chance, I think its great. I got mine about 3 years ago @ £130, back then I was told it should have been quite a lot more than that. No idea of current value, gotta be rarer then the U.S release hasn't it?
  2. That was worth it for the Label design alone!! VERY nice
  3. Hi Karen, I prefer the Susan Rewis too (only saying that cos I can't find a Becky Sharp ). Picked the up W/D on Columbia cheaply, but it was about 4/5 years ago. Rodge Martin is a cheapie, i think. Only played his version out a couple of times a long long time ago.
  4. PMSL the road to redemption steers a long and winding course, with many twists and turns. Who knows how long it will take us to reach the end. How long are you prepared to wait for us?
  5. TWICE (jusy for Andy ) !!!

  9. MAK, you'll find a clip of this one on my my website. https://hometown.aol.co.uk/KvCnnlln/SOUNDS+PAGE.htm
  10. What a great show it was too Davie. Perfect way to finish off the weekend
  11. I missed it, but I'll catch the repeat at 1.50am

  13. under the name sundray tucker if my memory serves me right.
  14. I'm with you on this one Karen. Takes me forever to find a sound sometimes! When I first started collecting I used to have them all Label A-Z. Not anymore................guess I'm too lazy. They're all in mixed up boxes and on shelves now. Keep saying to myself that I should keep them all boxed incase I need tog et them out of the place quickly, but got round to that yet. Only filing rule I have now is, new arrivals at the front of my play box.
  15. Hi, both tracks are ok. The Romance Watson is the better of the 2 for me. Wouldn't have thought of describing either as RnB though. But then I don't really pigeon hole sounds anyway.....I just like what I like.
  16. I know you're referring to the "destroy" side, but I reckon the uptempo version of 'problem child' would get 'em dancing
  17. Hi Ferret, from your description it sounds to me like you are listening to the first release of the Carol Jones, either way both sides of this 45 are great. It was released twice on Mutt and each time both sides were a different recording of the tunes (see attached files for comparison). The labels have a slightly different layout, but the easiest way to distinguise between the two (if you cant listen) is that the 2nd (faster) version has the address and phone number at the bottom of the label, the earlier release has no adress on it.
  18. Updated and offers considered on these now. Also looking for a copy of Lewise Bethune - Chi town boogaloo [sack] if anyone has one to trade/sell
  19. nice Mr Postman brought me this one today
  20. great tune Mandy
