    Good day everyone, Yesterday we had the dreadful, heartbreaking news about the death of the Queen; a momentous point in our history. As a mark of respect Walsall/Darlaston Council have, in common with other Councils, decided to close some of their public buildings to events. Accordingly this event at Darlaston Town Hall this Saturday night, 10th September, has been cancelled as it is a Primary Municipal Building. The premises will be displaying a Book of Condolence in which they'll be accepting signatures. Wreaths/flowers are also being accepted for display outside and inside the hall. I urge those who live nearby to get down there to show your respect. I, the DJs and others involved would not have be comfortable doing it, and it would have been voluntarily cancelled in any event. Fortunately no ticket sales are involved, so no refunds are required. We will be back as usual next month, on Saturday 8th October. Apologies for the inconvenience.     Don't mind anyone advertising an event in my various FB groups, just not 'piggybacking' on an individual event advert as you are doing. I wouldn't dream of doing that. It's banned in some groups, and should be. It may be here? It's certainly discouraged. No probs if you don't want me to advertise in your FB group. You're welcome to advertise in my FB groups, just please don't advertise via a comment under another promoters' event. They won't like such 'piggybacking'. Advertise your event in a standalone post, both here and on Facebook. .

    Another excellent All-Nighter at Whitchurch last night! Great music, ranging from up-front 'newies' to classic sixties and everything in between. Great work from fellow DJs Mick H, Rob Smith, Sam Moore, Dick Krop, Ray Casey, Jez Jones and Rob Lloyd. The superb dancefloor was rocking pretty much all night! Great atmosphere from start to finish. A big thank you to the wonderful, big, friendly crowd. Such a fantastic soul community. The photos capture the essence of the night, but you had to have been there to fully appreciate it. xx

    There a few things coming up at Whitchurch Civic, including a Soul Night on 9th April, an All-Dayer in May and a full 9-6 All-Nighter on June 4th. It certainly is one of the most ideal Venues for the current Northern Scene Dicky. Thanks for your support.
