Queues around the block, great music from top drawer DJs, superb polished woodlath dancefloor, great atmosphere, capacity attendance, an oh so friendly crowd and crystal clear sound. PERFECT!     Another great night in a fabulous venue. A very respectable turnout too, considering everything that was one (including the popular Blackpool Wintergardens Weekend) Great, varied Northern Soul music from a first class selection of DJs who know their onions! Sound system was on song as always. Bring on the next one in September. Saturday 28th is the date for your diaries. ️x

    And now for something completely different! Jazz-Funk returns to one of its strongholds... Birmingham. The DJ roster includes Bruce Qureshi, Perry Louis, Andy Hooton and guests. The full team going forward features figures like Colin Curtis, Snowboy and Greg Wilson amongst others. Bruce Q, Perry and Andy will remain residents. The Night Owl with its balcony, outdoor space and quality in-house sound system is the perfect venue for this music. Doors open at 3pm and you can dance till 11. The special introductory All-Dayer admission price is just £5 before 5pm (£7 after).

    Sadly, it's the way things are going now. There is a free cashpoint just outside with free withdrawals, so you don't have to have a debit or credit card, just a cash card. People are asking to use a card for admission too now, so we may add that option too shortly although cash will always be welcome/preferred. Regards, Pep
