  6. Another Soul Bowl "front pager" couple of quid back in 79 or so(demo). Alway's remember Mr Anderson's comment "If you're into stomper's forget it! A sophisticated mecca style shuffler'' How time's ave changed!

  8. Pretty sure label NOT owned by G&H.
  9. Nice one Simon bit of aNorth Bay fancier myself. You're spot on with Gene Mcfaddon and the late Jqhn Whitehead being member's of Talk of the Town + John Beatty or James Knight. Also recorded as The Epsilon's on Atco Stax and Triple G record's together with Lloyd Parks (later of Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes) Think the B side of The Family's 45 ("Nation Time'') may be an embryonic "We're on the right track'' with that Norman Harris guitar. Would love more info on this cool Philly label too.
  10. I spy for BBC 2
  11. and I don't mean ''Heartache's and pain'' !!!!!!
  12. Bought mine just like SteveP off 'soul bowl' as a front pager Wonder how many other SB front pager's went onto become "big money/in demand" sound's? Should we start a thread? Is Mr Anderson on here ? He could write page's I'm sure!
  13. Look forward to it!! Cheers P&M
