Hey Mark, how ya doin?
My mate Curnow (Sidney Bridge on 'ere) wants to know if theres any venues darn sarf that play the tunes you've been listing on your E-mail list lately cos he's in Blighty (sarf east) for the next few weeks and would like to check 'em out. The tunes that is!
All those lovely jazzy funky things that we've not heard but look really nice.
Can you point him in the right direction?
Nice list on here by the way, I'd be straight into my wallet but I'm off to the states in a couple of weeks so need to watch the pennies I'm sure you know what I mean.
Cheers Paul "Woosie " Woosnam
PS How come I never got these E mail?
PPS Bump!

Wheres ric-tic? He'll sort it!
Cheers Paul
Going brazenly off topic here but a New York record store (Downstairs) owner once told me that Elton played the piano intro on Eddie Holmans "This Will Be A Night To Remember" he knew this because he happened to be in the studio (Sigma) that day.
Cheers Paul
Love 'em all equally meself Mr brat, then again I am a bit biased when it comes to Ms Carne.
Me and Mrs Shrew were lucky enough to spend some time with Dexter Wansell in Philly about 18 months ago, a lovely bloke with some amazing stories and of course a musical genius!
Cheers Paul
I only have Boby Franklin "Muthas Love" and one with Denice Williams ''Free" LP version on one side and the Emotions "Don't Wanna Lose Your Love" and a Ramsey Lewis track on the other. Both play at 33rpm.
I also have a couple of Philly Int' solid centre 33rpm promos. Harold Melvin's "Love I Lost" and "Wake Up Everybody" both long versions. Columbia distributed of course. I also have a large centre single of "Wake Up....." long version which is again 33rpm. Not seen an O'Jays "I Love Music" that Tony Rounce mentioned tho, if I had I'd have bought it!
Epic ones?........ Now theres a thought.
Cheers Paul
Remember buying Roberta Kelly "Troublemaker" as a new release UK single and much to the annoyance of my old mate Steve Plimmer (who'd just forked out for the import LP) it was the full LP version at 33rpm.
Also have a couple of those Columbia solid centre long version things. Picked up a nice Carla Thomas 60's solid centre juke box EP 33 the other day too.
