Nowt wrong with Crow, Ferret..................cheers Shrew
PS Vvincepce Ian Levine did not produce the Crow (says produced by Progresive Media Inc on my Right On! 45 ) and if you mean the RCA "Jumping........." comp er its not on that either !
If you do find a copy you can afford the flipside is the awesome Lolleatta Holloways "This Mans Arms" which is about a minute longer than the CD version ( it was an unreleased 70s track ) Happy hunting.
Cheers Paul
Hi manny,
Both Linda Jones 45's are well worth checking out especially "Thats When I'll Stop Loving You"
The Vibrations "Surprise Party For Baby" is a northern classic and should be on the www.soulclub.org jukebox. Their other 45 "Whos Gonna Help Me Now" is a fantastic harmony ballad. Perhaps some kind hearted soul-sourcer could post this up and maybe the Linda Joneses?
Theres a discography of the label on www.soulfulkindamusic.com (thank you Mr Rimmer ! )
Cheers Paul
PS Billy Pauls "Feeling Good At The Cadallac Club" was a Gamble Records LP
Yes it is brilliant, noticed this thread at work this afternoon (no bank holiday here in Cloggyland) and thought I must mention Pat Lundy when I get home. Glad you beat me to it Mr Alden
Good thread this Baz
Cheers Paul
Quite a few Charles Johnsons went to Shrewsbury Awake 502....... I even remember giving a copy away to a 60s diehard trying to broaden his horizons :fool:
Cheers Paul
PS "Right C.J. ?"
Sent a mate of mine off to Wigan one night saying "If so an so's still got that Betty Lloyd for 4 quid can you buy it for me"
"Sure no problem" He says. Sunday night in the pub we meet up "Got that Betty Lloyd " he says "but I quite like it so I think I'll keep it"
 Paul
PS Worse thing is he didn"t even know the record "till I asked him to buy it for me!
Hi Derek,
Excuse my ignorance here, but Dr Feelgood is a UK act right? So the record was possibly recorded in the UK. Earlier in the thread John Benson metioned a Linda Lewis record too, only released in the UK soooo..........did Bert do some work in England?!
Cheers Paul
Havin"a larf at modernsoulsucks and SteveG "s posts .........but seriously Donna ...American gradings go from MINT to VG+ there is no inbetween. no EXC or EX+ nothing like that.
