  1. Yep they were all still there, Walter and Scotty sounding great. One of the others was recovering from some heart problems so couldn"t move around the stage too much but was still singing. Cheers Paul PS They"re also playing Amsterdam in May, part of a package with Thelma Houston & Evelyn "Campagne" King

  8. Guess it'll be going back home stateside...........................to a certain DJ of a caucasion (spelling) persuasion.........................................I reckon Cheers Paul
  9. So does the Dutch original issue Stuart. Its actually the US sleeve (the cloggy one anyway) cos it has the American address printed on the inner gatefold. No hat on the Dutch label or picture of Mr Brown either with or without moustache Have seen the picture of him on quite a few US 45s of his and his productions from the 70s Cheers Paul PS Great LP........................................... "Papa don't take no Mess" !!!
  10. Have found this info in the "Soul Harmony Singles" book 'Bring It Home.......' was their 1st release on Volt in March '72 Lead singer was Rhonda Washington Think the white label must be a promo copy can"t believe its ever been bootlegged but ya never know My copy is the brown stock, unfortunatley with the labels flipped Great record I reckon and their other Volt releases are also worth checking out Cheers Paul
  11. Love that bass in "Nija Walk" Cheers Paul
  12. A lot are srereo/mono Dante cos the radio stations were broadcasting in mono at the time. Cheers Paul
  13. A classic and I for one do like this sunnysoul It also got a new lease of life on the rare groove scene in London in the 80s. As for a possible northern classic I wouldn't have thought there"d be much chance today but at its time of release I reckon it may well have gone if some enterprising DJ had picked up on it. Cheers Paul
  14. Or like Billy Paul sang "Theres three sides to every story..........theres the wrong.....theres the right.......and theres the truoooouth" Oops sorry off topic by miles..................... I'm off to feedback or wherever Cheers Paul
