    My best memory of the Palais is an all-dayer '79/'80 ??? with John Grant and Colin Curtis in the main room...... and northern in the bali hai with (I think) Pat Brady and Brian Rae (+more but I can't remember) Live act in the main room was Lonnie Liston Smith ................I had a great view from the balcony left hand side...... and Mr Smith totally blew me away......and probably changed my life Cheers Paul
