Contempo was a legit label Robb, back in the 70s run by John Abbey the owner of Blues & Soul magazine.
The scan in your post is obviously a poor bootleg attempt by someone .

I find it awful to tell the truth. Only reason I keep hold of my copy (styrene ex+) is for the ballad flipside "Where Did Our Love Go" which I like a lot.

I guess not booted at the time as it was released on Gapevine pretty soon after going big ?
Also there were a fair amount of originals around too.
Why on earth it was booted later (and with an equaliy available track on the flip I will never know)

A screw top or cork will have no relevance to the quality of wine. In fact a screw top could be preferable as it won"t react with the wine and produce "corked"wine syndrome.
All Aussie wine is screw topped for instance.

Also an all-dayer @ Shrewsbury Tiffanies I think Feb "83. Remember Glyn Thornhill DJ ing so maybe he can confirm the date. Think it was jazz/funk in the main room and "modern soul" in the smaller one

Also an LP but I cant remember the title sorry.
Many other versions too of course
Stumbled accross Dee Dee Warwicks version on her Atco lp yesterday for instance

Never a day goes by where I don"t have a Gladys& The Pips tune passing through my head.

Not on British as far as I know so sorry if off topic but does anyone remember the female version of Ral Donner ?
Daughters Of Eve "Social Tragedy" (Chess) played for a few weeks by Richard S and then a Soul Bowl front page special.
A tad quick for these days methinks
