  1. Have to agree regards ahem "re-issues" that is bonkers to me. I would rather have it on CD if I can"t find/afford an original. As for high prices for more common records well that has always been the case if there is deamand. Also some of the previously common records are maybe not so common anymore ? Especially in good nick. Could be a good thread malC Cheers Paul
  2. Fantastic ! Thanks Cheers Paul

  5. Indeed chalky it is. But not only that it is the same recording which doesn"t qualify for this thread either, like a lot of previous posts as you have also pointed out. Cheers Paul

  17. Maybe not so surprising as stock copies on major labels can often fetch much more than the promo counterpart if they didn"t sell much on release. As more promo copies survived at radio stations and were sent out to DJs and reviewers. The stock copies that didh"t sell would have probably been trashed or in the later 70s maybe recycled. The flipside of Beloyd is also rated by some I believe so could also have something to do with it Cheers Paul
  18. When I bought this 45 (UK London) I was so knocked out with "How Could You Run Away" that I don"t think I ever flipped it over. So many thanks for the heads up ! Cheers Paul
