  1. Thanks Paul. I am not sure of its source but it does look to be a re-issue. I seem to recall that I have seen some information surrounding these re-issues. When I find it I will post here. Thanks Roger I was afraid it wasn"t the real deal. Had it in my "Hmmm not sure " box for a few years but read recently that yellows were real and pinks were boots. This brought my hopes up for a while but after following this good thread my hopes are dashed. Its heading for the bin ! Cheers Paul
  2. Agree Peter99. And what do you make of my copy Roger ? Cheers Paul
  3. Heres mine LC 6475-B scratched in run out Cheers Paul
  4. Thanks for that, but I read in Mr Manships book that the re-issue was pink. Mine is not pink more off/dirty white. I will try to find it and check the numbers and maybe post a pic Cheers Paul
  5. Can"t lay my hands on mine at the moment but its an off white label with green text. Bought in the late 70s, is it kosher ? Cheers Paul
  6. There you are then Chris !!! Cheers Paul
  7. Indeed it was a "Double A side " release originally Cheers Paul
  8. LP version is longer Mick Cheers Paul
  9. And a brilliant flipside (There You Are) which did get released on 45 in the States 50 or 75 seems barmey to me, maybe demand ? Cheers Paul
  10. And of course his classic 2:56 Timothy Wilson Baby Baby Pleas Cheers Paul
  11. Echo all the sentiments above. Thanks for the music Mr Wilson. One of my favourites of his Ongeveer 10.100 resultaten 2:31 Timothy Wilson Say It Again Say I Love You) Cheers Paul
  12. Flipside is a nice version of Earth Wind and Fires "Think About Loving You" Cheers Paul
  13. Also I remember the first copies Soul Bowl sold of the 45 all jumped about 3/4 way in. Don"t think anyone sent em back as you couldn"t get it anywhere else at the time. Think they were a couple of quid each. Cheers Paul
  14. Only one. very rare 12 inch version. The one that Soul Sam used to play. Think you have the releases covered in your original post although I have a nagging thought that there maybe a release on an anniversary freebie 45 from some club or another. I could well be wrong tho. Cheers Paul
  15. Stumbled accross my ECC this morning and its also 1974 Cheers Paul
  16. Remember Mr Anderson @ Soul Bowl selling ECC on lists mid 80s as "early Go Go"........ the "wee fibber" Cheers Paul
  17. Love it myself Oh and I agree the type looks well wrong Cheers Paul
  18. Soul Searchers LP is from 1974 Cheers Paul
  19. Looks dodgy to me Timmy. No music publisher name (Tunetime Music Inc BMI) as is on the styrene originals. I smell a rat ! Why it would be bootlegged I have no idea Cheers Paul
  20. Think The Soul Searchers came first but will have to check that. The Soul Searchers later became Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers with much "Go Go " fame of course Cheers Paul
  21. The Gems 40 quid mint Cheers Paul
  22. Indeed it does Peter, sold mine when I got the LP mid 80s Cheers Paul
  23. Yep Soul Bowl had em for a couple of quid Cheers Paul
  24. Thanks Eddie. Richard Searling I guess ? Sometimes had clues in his cover-ups like Lee Valentine producer of The Friendly People for instance. Cheers Paul
