  12. Heard the awful news early this afternoon that Timmy has died Long time Soul Source member as Tlscapitol. Timmy was an ace collecter/DJ/dealer and a wealth of Soulful information . A dear friend of ours since the late 90s, he will be sorely missed Regards Paul Woosnam

  16. Yes there are plenty of Dutch bootlegs around, usually booted for the Suriname Soul Scene. But they were almost all Deep Soul or ballads. So why The Temps 45 was booted I don''t know. Maybe a ballad flipside ? Cheers Paul

Seems to be that Soul Sam was the 1st to play it. although late 70s, Ian Levine may have played it @ Sale but probably not @ Mecca @Rick Cooper or maybe once or twice but not enough dancefloor respone. I get that with the "turnover" of tunes at the time, I was just curious as to the review in "75 Cheers Paul

  24. Just read a revue of this by Ian Levine in an old Black Music magazine from October 1975. A record I"d associated with Richard Searling later Wigan Casino. So was this played earlier ? Cheers Paul
