  1. Congratulations by the way!
  2. In hindsight, my son's should have been - Brenda Starr - Satan, Let Me Sleep Tonight.
  3. Mind you, that Levanna . . .
  4. Has it gone away yet?
  5. Cringing already.
  6. Or the shrill of those horns on the Tempest's Someday?
  7. There's loads isn't there? How about that couple of bars of piano / bass at the beginning of Herb Ward's Strange Change. Sounds great loud.
  8. I've just put some records on Ebay. Interestingly, "It's Too Late" seems to getting more hits than other soul tracks. Not mad on in myself, but it did end up in my collection!
  9. That was a very clever piece of "Columbo Style" detective work there. Impressive!!!
  10. That's a good question. I'm guessing though that people are more concerned about the filmakers getting things right, regarding the scene. Seems to me that people feel they own the copyright almost to the world of Northern Soul. Rightly or wrongly, that's how passionate folk are.
  11. Nice tune that. New one to me. What's the vocal?
  12. Think of Sam Dees on a Bontempi keyboard
  13. The chord changes actually remind me of Sam Dees, though the likeness ends there.
  14. I've heard it before but it sounded different. Maybe it's just a quality thing.
  15. You're not wrong there! Has someone else done this?
  16. Tomangoes always does it for me.
  17. Ha ha. My records and "rare" don't really go together.
  18. My Billy Prophet does!
  19. I thought Billy Prophet did fade, albeit a bit quick.
  20. Slow start AND slow finish!!!!!!
  21. Manifesto - Case Of Tyme. Annoyingly slows down too. You have to be a clever dancer to look cool.
  22. What's going on here? There's another odd one at 29.30. Those drugs ain't what they used to be!
  23. I've seen another variation too on youtube.
  24. Yeah! All the ingredients of a good Northern sound. I think the first time I heard it, was on a tape full of old Torch favourites. I could be mistaken.
  25. Thanks for the replies chaps, any idea what sort of price one could sell it for?
