I'm sure John Manship was selling these for him at one point, but that was obviously a while back. I bought one from him directly (he was selling them on eBay as well) & was pretty happy. The record box itself is excellent, but the strap was nasty....that was in the bucket within minutes. Replaced it with a quality one from eBay & job was a good one!

I have had a conversation with someone else in the same situation as myself with this character. He may or may not want to go public & I respect whatever he decides. However, this has escalated & I'm keen to report this matter to the Police. If someone can supply his address, it would be really appreciated. Okay. I bought a record from this character on Facebook a fortnight past Friday....9th Sept. The record is question was Donna King - Take Me Home on Hotline. The price was £750 & I paid a £250 holding deposit on the Friday & the balance of £500 on the Saturday evening. I have evidence of Christopher acknowledging receiving the payments. This is when Christopher stopped communicating with me directly. Obviously the record hasn't arrived & I am asking for help with the Soul Source community to help resolve this matter. There are long running threads on Facebook now discussing this matter and there are good people on there trying to locate him. I don't get any pleasure out of bringing this matter to publish forums, but enough is enough. Most people on Facebook have already made their minds up on what Christopher is doing.....I'm still trying to give him a platform to explain himself & resolve this matter. Any help on this matter members can give is extremely appreciated. Thank you.

Following on from the post about the Pinkertones tune, I'd thought I would start another on records that seem to be around in quantity nowadays. On a regular basis I've seen the following 3 & 4 figure records popping up for sale. Has there been little finds, people turning them over when bored with them or just never been rare? No your wrong. It's all about a bloke who didn't get what he paid for. Then after getting lambasted for complaining, gets sent counterfeit records as compensation. Pretty simple really......just a bloke not getting what he is due & letting others know about it.

Before you get too carried away tlscapital, I only asked the questions to clarify things. If Niknak paid for 1000 records, he should have got 1000 playable records, as long as they fitted the genres they were sold as. Surely that would have been the answer, regardless of the records values. The reason I ask about the bootlegs & if he still has them, is that if so, they are Niknak's & he can do what he likes with them. As they seem to have a "value", maybe he should consider listing them on eBay & recoup some cash back.

Niknak....just to clarify things, do you still have the bootleg records? Also, you received approximately 1050 records which approximately 750 play through?

Out of interest, did the £30k "compensation" pack contain nice fresh copies of Sam Williams, The Salvadors, The Magnetics on Ra-Sel, The Greater Expericence & maybe a John Wesley?
