Hypnotised on Loma 1967 - anyone have this for sale please?

I recently paid a lot of money ( for me ) for a 45, - no record of price guide or recent sales - I sold a few things to raise some cash to pay for it. I'm chuffed to own it - and don't reckon I'll ever be able to part with it. I could have actually paid twice or even three times its 'value'. The thing is though: I paid exactly the value to me - so big deal if people sell stuff that in the opinion of others is overpriced. I dont understand why anyone would feel that they have an issue with the sellers prices that are 'too high'. If you arent buying why ruin a sale. Hundreds might not want to buy but one person just might want that 'expensive' 45 as the right price for them. I suppose it might be a sense of wanting fair justice and the right prices for things but we wouldnt apply the same sales spoiling techniques in any other walk of life, why do it here?

Great song - it's been going around in my head for 24 hours or so - recorded it onto my I phone so I could listen to it on Holiday which is where I am now. We had the pleasure of travelling down with Lev from Bristol to the 100 Club last month, had a great night and we felt excitement for her visit to the basement as I call it. Great to see an enthusiastic dancer into it. Great stuff!

MOM was for me one of the main reasons to travel up to The 100 Club and desperately hope that Butch would play it. I've got tapes of those nights there with him calling the track Cynthia Davis "What Shall I Do" - and the opening few seconds were like an andrenaline rush to get on the dance floor, "baa ba ba ba, ba ba ba, ba....." I think it was at Prestatyn where I was going through some reissues and found the Soul City 45 and couldn't quite believe it had been put out on 45. Epic 45 that holds so many memories, Butch used to play George Pep after MOM too which I also love.

Not quite a sep record room - not in my little house, but am now set up to play my small collection of tunes and have nice people round to socialise. ( in fact this is happening next week ) So heres my Ikea platform with secondhand technics, 1970's amp ( donated by a friend ), technics speakers from the 1970s that are small but sound amazing and finally a free mixer. There is a bit of a theme here but I'm not a free loader and do pay for things Love it !

This little beauty - in near mint condition What a tune and arrangement - plus the belter on tother side that is "Send Her Away" I'm a sucker for girlie northern soul and this totally floats my boat, cant stop playing it :-)

Bristol to Norwich Back Street Soul Night - 6 hours in a Triumph Herald with no heater. It felt like it took 24 hours at 55 mph top speed. Blankets on laps to keep warm and s massive cassette player in the back with spare batteries cos it ate them quickly. :-)

What I really hate is...... The awesome soulful as you like under rated rare 45's that the DJ is playing... ( If I haven't got them in my play box ) Only joking.... (Ish ) :-)
