    Bought a Lorraine Chandler I can't hold on , about 2009. $20 delivered. Nothing out of the ordinary until it turned up. White Demo in totally mint condition. I did the right thing and e-mailed the seller but didn't get an answer (o dear what a shame) I've still got it. I didn't know until then that I can't hold on is the B side on the demo....

    Hiya Jeff my old mate. Yes we had some brilliant times. Met Yvonne at Bury. I've now passed my IAM with a first and also did my ROSPA and got a hold. I'll give you a shout when I'm out for a ride next time mate.. Prestwich in the longfield suite was bloody brilliant.

    I'm not one of the original Soul crowd as I'm a bit young at 54. Ive lived and breathed this scene of ours for 40 years though. During this past 18 months or so I've moved to where a always wanted to live taken my foot off on the work front and gained more qualifications on my motorbike. BUT I just can't get myself up to get back out and dance like I always have. When I remember the club's I loved . Brighouse, Lowton, Monaco, Winsford, Sheridans, Eggborough and many more. Then look at what's about now, I just can't be bothered. Is it me.????? Hugh

    Boston Spa youth club 1978 and I was 11yrs old. Out on the floor hits my ears the first time I was allowed in the dance hall with the big lads and lasses. Still brings a lump to my throat when I remember that time. Hugh

    Never have laughed at what other people are or what they do. Part of the being into this Northern Soul thing has always been getting laughed at. Early 80,s serving in Northern Ireland , what are you doing when you get home this weekend Hugh. I'm of dancing!!!!! Not much taking of the piss. Couldn't care less then and even less so now.
