    We'll never know because the real collectors aren't DJs and probably aren't even known on the scene. Also as has been said many times on here what about the records people didn't go back for on trips to the states many years ago. Are they all in peoples basements and sitting there worth millions but the family of the passed record collectors have no knowledge of even care about those rubbish records that nobody ever wanted?????

    I think it's a lot to do with ages of most collectors these days. In my 30s with all the kids, mortgages and working like a looney to provide I didn't have the time and certainly not the money to indulge, but jump forward 25 years with much more time and disposable income to play with then I can dabble a little bit. If I didn't have a passion for motorbikes then I would certainly get sticky fingers. BUT common sense has to come into it somewhere.

    Steve. I go up there at least 6 times a year on the motorbike. To me the Northwest of Scotland is the most beautiful place on the planet. Get yourself and the gorgeous one up there. You won't regret it.

    Most of the people that I know that went to university are usually the ones that you have to explain things to more than once. ( Dartmouth Naval College) mostly. Analysing the records and analysing what was happening at the time are two different things.

    One thing that must be understood and cannot be left out is all of the passion we feel towards this scene of ours. This can be hard to get to grips with if you've never heard music that brings a lump in your throat a tear to your eye and the goose bumps upon goose bumps all over. Hugh
